August 10 to August 18
Greetings
Well the croakers finally showed up and we have been doing fairly well with them on our night trips. So far thought they aren’t cooperating very well during the day. So we fish for sea bass, although we will check for those croakers, on our day trips and croaker fish at night. There are still a lot of throw back sea bass but there are also some nice keepers with a few flounder mixed in. .
Hope to see you soon

July 27-August 10, 2008
I am happy to report that we have actually been seeing some improvement in the seabass fishing over the past week. After a long grueling month of July, August seems to be getting off to a good start. Although some trips are most certainly better than others, for the most part we have been seeing alot more seabass coming in over the rail. Lots of throw backs right now but some folks are ending up with a some keepers by the end of the day. Flounder right now are a little more spotty. We just haven't been able to put together a consistent catch of flounder. It's not uncommon on some trips to see a few flounders coming in with a keeper mixed in here and there, then not see any for the next few trips. Water temperatures have been warming up lately and the Taug bite has slowed down. All we need now are a few croakers. Normally by this time of year were seeing good catches of croaker, especially on the night trip, but they just haven't made an appearance in good numbers yet. Hopefully with the warming water we will start seeing a few in the next week or so.
Hope to see you soon
